Pros and cons of a network marketing business.
Copyright © Alexandre Sobolevskiy
http://www.ProfitMacnine.com

Network marketing is a good and viable business option for anyone who has a goal.Based on my experience, network marketing offers more advantages than
disadvantages.Here what I consider it's general advantages/disadvantages:
The pros are:
-Very minimal startup costs compared to starting a franchise/brick and mortar business
-Flexible Scheduling
-Residual income
-Established infrastructure/plan.
-Potential for time/financial freedom
-Create the only true partnerships in business and make friends as well
-Presence of a sponsor/mentor to guide you throughout.
The cons are:
-Like any other business, there are good companies, and bad companies. If you're not careful, you could get caught up in a bad company
-Certain companies may limit your creativity by putting some restrictions on advertising/marketing.
-You may have to compete with your peers in your area/region
-Frustration for new recruits who don't receive proper support from their upline
-High failure rate
-Have to learn a lot

In MLM the key to being in the 5%(successful) and not the 95%(unsuccessful) is mentoring.
Why is franchising the most successful business model? It is because there is a system to follow which includes ongoing support and training(mentoring).
Because of the low start-up investment in MLM you attract many folks who are not self motivating or business savvy. Thus if there isn't a strong mentoring program or upline mentor to guide them they give up/quit, or as the negatroids call it, fail.
Look for a solid debt free company with a product that is in demand, and, most importantly, make sure your sponsor is willing to take you by the hand and lead you every step of the way.
BUT, you yourself must work hard, invest in your business and eventually go from student to teacher/mentor to your people as well, if you want to be in the 5%.Look for company management with experience, timing in the company and the industry, a remarkable product, a compensation plan that pays its part-timers and a duplicatable system.
In a nutshell, those are the five essential pillars every company must have in place for YOU to be successful.
I believe that it works if YOU are willing to work. Think about it like a brick and mortar business. You have to invest in it. You have to be creative. You have to treat it like a job. Determine what hours and days you are going to work on it and Be there!! On time!! Find a mentor who is successful and follow them!
The truth is more people probably make full-time incomes promoting the direct sales income opportunities like | Liberty League International | Emerald Passport | Coastal Vacations | and while the "start-up" costs for these companies may be higher ( at least they are commonly perceived that way ) it takes no more effort to promote a plan where you earn $1000-25,000 per customer than it takes to promote an mlm where you earn a $5.oo residual per customer (who stays on autoship).

The direct sales companies are set up not only to attract people who have some funds to start a serious home business with early retirement potential, but also to sort of screen out those who are not capable of building such a business. People who get reactive over investing $1500.oo in starting a business are not the people you want for any team
People who are worthy of success will show merit in any situation, however, with the direct sales model it is much easier to spend valuable time only dealing with and mentoring those who are truly serious about building a business and back that up with an investment of time, money, and energy.
Lets have no illusions about what the real product of the MLM industry is: its the dream of easy big money for people with little education and no history of success in business. The vitamins, tonics, magnets, gas pills or whatever are the products that legitimize the industry, no doubt. And its great if you stand proudly behind the product you promote. But the real money is made by recruiting business builders who have been sold on the same dream we bought. Don't forget it.

What are the advantages and disadvantages between drop shipping and affiliate programs?

Copyright © Alexandre Sobolevskiy
http://www.ProfitMacnine.com

The main difference is customers. Do you want to deal with them?

Option 1: Affiliate

You don't have to worry about any problems related to customers. You keep the commission, and all you have to worry about is how to spend it.
Since, not dealing with customers frees up a lot of time, you could later find another market for other affiliate products/services.

Option 2: Drop Shipping

If there's a problem with the product, you are the one they are going to call. That's a drawback, that could seriously take up a lot of your time.
But, here's a great advantage to Drop Shipping. You get the customer base. You get a list (if you are smart enough to assemble it) of prospects and customers.
This is a list of people with a common interest and you could easily contact them later (again, if you have the skills) with related products OR even affiliate products.
This is a great advantage, to Drop Shipping.
SO, the question is. Do you feel that you are better finding markets for products? Then you go Affiliate..

If you feel customer service is you strong spot, and you feel passionate about the market/products? Then you go Drop Shipping
Say you are trying to build volume in a smaller target market instead of a mass affiliate program, and many of the individual products are not yet using affiliates, would it be a good idea to do half and half?

And for those who not yet offer affiliate and drop shipping, what's a good way to approach it?

In this situation you are after a tight niche market. That's good. Also, this market could need/want/demand several different kinds of ONE-product retailers; where most of them are not really adapted to the internet.

First...

You should research your market.
If you have a good product, you should research the market.

Second...

Since the regular-retailers don't seem to be up to speed, it becomes a little bit tricky. (It could be that the reason is that the retailers know that there is NO online market, OR it is a huge opportunity for you).

Here's the trick. (you seem to be somewhat interested in the market) Develop an informational product related to the topic. Don't sell it. Give it away, in exchange for their email adress. The info product could be an E-book, Audio, Special Report, Interview, a link collection, assembled articles.

This does 2 things, you get a way to contact them, and you build up credibility.

If you got credibility, you can affiliate, drop-ship, retail... whatever.

Third..

Next you need to get products to the customer. You persuade someone to create an affiliate program, or even drop-shipping.... But it won't be worth the trouble, if they don't understand.

So, what you can do.. Is to go to the company, and tell them you have x amount of people that might be interested in the product.

...Would they be interested in giving a x amount of commission (affiliate) to you, if you refer them to the store, through a specific campaign.

...Would they be interested in giving a x amount of discount(drop-ship) to you, if you order, and they were willing to ship it out separately to the customer, through a specific campaign.

It is something that many women dream of: the chance to be able to stay at home with their children and to not need to take their children to the babysitters so they can go to work. IT is hard to find a place in this world that will allow you to work and contribute to the family income, but that will also allow you to stay at home with your children. Luckily, if you are working online there are many jobs that you can do as a stay at home mom, and still do your best to help your family make ends meet.

There are many different jobs that stay at home moms might do. The important thing about working from home and being a stay at home mother is that you can set your own hours. This is very important if you have small children that are going to need your time. Instead of making your children wait until your work is finished, you can figure out a way to make your work wait until your children have free time you can spend at work. Being a stay at home mom and working is something that requires a little bit of structure, but once you have figured it out is something that is easy to do. You are going to be able to stay at home and get your work done, and you are also going to be able to show your family that you care about them by being there for your kids all of the time.

There are many things that a stay at home mom can do to work from home. The most important thing that you can do is to figure out what kinds of things you are interested in. you should try to get a stay at home job that falls in one of your interests, because working is something that is going to be with your for awhile and you want to be sure that not only are you doing good work but you are making ends meet for your family in a way that makes you happy. There are many stay at home moms who work only in their fields, whether this is writing or marketing or other forms of art. You can find something that you love to do, and you can find a way to do it at home, so your children never have to be at home without you, and your family time can be spent as a family. Working form home is something that has become quite popular with families and with other moms. Try to find a way that it can fit in your lifestyle as well.

Starting A Home Business Can Be Fun

Copyright © Alexandre Sobolevskiy
http://www.ProfitMacnine.com

There are many reasons that you might want to start a home business. If you are good at something or if you have something that you can offer to others, a home business is a great way to make money in order to support yourself while you are doing as much for others as you possibly can. If you want to start a home business, here are some tips to make sure that it goes over smoothly.

First of all, make sure that it is something you are interested in. This is quite important because this business is going to take up a lot of your time and energy, especially at the very beginning. It is very important that you are embarking on an adventure that you are actually going to enjoy. Often, when someone starts up a home business, they need to work for many hours each day to get the business off the ground and up and running. If you can make sure that you are starting up a business in an area that interests you, you are going to find that you are having a much better time making this a reality for yourself.

Also, you should remember that your business should be completely planned out before you start to work on it. You need to know if it is going to be something that you can do on your own or if you are going to need help from employees. You should be able to find out if you can structure your time around your business or if you are going to have to make adjustments to your schedule.

Make sure that you have all of the contracts worked up, and that you have all of the tax information squared away before you even begin to market your business or sell a product or perform a service. You should make sure that you are getting everything set up first because this is the best way to make sure that you are making the most out of your time.

Last, remember to have fun! The best part of owning a home business is to make sure that you are having fun and that you are enjoying yourself. The only way that you can truly be independent and truly love what you are doing is if you make it something that is enjoyable for you, and if you have fun with it. That is the way to truly enjoy work and to enjoy the way that you are making your living. Remember that this is something that will hopefully be with you for a long time to come, so you should make it count and do the best that you can do!

Setting Up An Online Store

Copyright © Alexandre Sobolevskiy
http://www.ProfitMacnine.com

It seems like online stores are all the rage lately. There are many places online where you can buy things and where you can make other types of purchases. There are sites that sell new items, sites that sell old items, and sites that sell a combination of the both. If you want to work at home, and you are thinking of setting up an online store in order to do so, there are several things that you might want to keep in mind as you embark on this adventure.

First of all, you should choose goods that you have an interest in. If you are a big book reader, for instance, maybe you should sell used books online. If you have another interest, try to figure out a way to work your interests into your online store. This is important because you are going to be able to take control over your online store and make sure that you are selling what you want to sell, and if it is something that you are interested in, chances are good that you are going to find yourself more involved.

After you have decided what your online store is going to be selling, you need to figure out where you should get your products. Are you going to buy them around your town, or are you yourself going to order them online? Wherever you are getting your products from, you have to make sure that you are able to get products cheap. The best way to make sure that you are going to make a profit is to try to buy items in bulk so that you have many of them. Often you’ll be able to buy items much more cheaply if you buy a lot of them at once, and shipping costs will be reduced, as well. Then, you can sell the items individually to buyers online and make a profit that way. Since a person is only buying one item, they will pay more for it than you paid for it when you bought it in bulk.

Now you are ready to set up your store. You need an online space with a name that you can easily have people remember, and then you need to begin the marketing. Try to do as much as possible so that your name and your address are in as many places as they can be. Once you have started to get some business, you can continue to sell items and get even more business. The key to being successful is having a product that people want and being able to market it in a way that is going to make you money in the end.

More Problems Associated With Being Self Employed

Copyright © Alexandre Sobolevskiy
http://www.ProfitMacnine.com

Do you have the right personality to be self employed? If you are
determined, driven to achieve your goal, and able to keep your vision in the
crosshairs at all times, then you will most likely be on your way. If less
than complimentary clients and even those who harshly criticize your ideas
do not deter you from trying, but perhaps are actually spurring you on to
try even harder, then you are most certainly on your way to success. Yet
what about the financial ability to see it through – are you ready? Can you
weather an equipment failure, loss of data, and the need for upgraded
equipment without having to resort to using your personal credit cards? Are
you able to survive if one or more client do not pay you one time but leave
you hanging for a few months?

If you answered yes to the first two questions you may be well on your way
to self employment, yet you are not quite there! There are still some
problems associated with being self employed that you need to be aware of
before bidding farewell to your boss. Perhaps one of the biggest fear
factors is the IRS. These initials are sufficient to drive the fear of doing
business into even the most hardened entrepreneurs, and you may be no
exception. After all, you will need to be meticulously organized and instead
of only paying taxes once a year, you will find yourself at the taxman’s
office every quarter. Furthermore, you will need to be prepared to pay your
Medicare and FICA and up that point in time of being self employed, it was
your boss’ responsibility to do so. Before dismissing that guaranteed
paycheck, make sure you will be able to traverse the narrow path the IRS has
set forth for the self employed.

On a personal note, self employment for those with family is fraught with
another set of problems. A steady paycheck keeps a family well supported and
many money worries at bay, while self employment may be more akin to times
of feast or famine. Are your family members willing to help you achieve your
dream of being self employed? Do they understand the implications of no
longer being able to count on the bi-weekly direct deposit in the bank
account? It is imperative that everyone involved knows what the changes will
mean and get on board with you. Failure to paint an honest picture will
result in misunderstandings, feelings of betrayal, and such an increase in
strife that you will find yourself scouring the help wanted ads simply to
keep peace in the family. Sorting this out ahead of time ensures that
everyone is on the same page and ready and willing to support your dream and
perhaps even make it their own!

The Problems Associated With Being Self Employed

Copyright © Alexandre Sobolevskiy
http://www.ProfitMacnine.com

The dream of being successfully self-employed is quite possibly innate to
anyone who is employed. The idea of having the artistic freedom necessary to
create winning marketing campaigns is probably one of the most often cited
reasons why an employee would much rather prefer to be their own boss.
Another reason is the fact that the relationship between employer and
employee has broken down at some level and the employee realizes that
certain needs have not been met and most certainly will remain unmet while
in the employ of the company. Yet self employment itself is a bit of a
double edged sword and not everyone is cut out for this mode of earning a
living. If you are contemplating this step so as to work from home and throw
off the shackles that corporate employment has become to you, think long and
hard if you are truly ready.

There are a set of problems associated with being self employed, and perhaps
the biggest obstacle a novice faces is his or her own self. Having a dream
is easy; yet making this dream a reality demands a certain level of self
discipline. Some personality types are not able to transit from reporting to
a boss to reporting to no one yet remaining just as driven. Additionally,
some personality types that benefited from the buffer the employer presented
when it came to relationships with clients or customers, will sorely find
their patience tested when a new client harshly criticizes the marketing
strategy you present to them. Especially if you are in an artistic field,
some of these criticisms could feel like personal attacks or even personal
rejection, making this form of employment almost harder than working for
someone else.

The second problem you will face is the question as to who will bankroll
your endeavor. After all, it is not enough to have a great idea. You
probably also have bills, a family to feed, and if nothing else the daily
needs that have to be fulfilled. The number one challenge associated with
this step is the fact that many a newbie will use credit cards to get set
up. Yet the problems do not end there. How much liquidity you have at the
onset will also determine your overall success since it dictates whether or
not you can live with the fact that one client is taking an extraordinary
long period of time to finally pay you. If one or maybe even more slow
clients spell financial trouble to such an extent that you have to touch
your retirement savings or home equity, you might not yet be ready for self
employment. It is important to begin being your own boss from a position of
strength, not weakness.
